How Findpk collects, uses and protects information across our business directory.

FindPK ("Findpk", "we", "us", or "our") operates the findpk.qzz.io business directory. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors, businesses, and account holders, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have regarding it.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Business listing details: business name, category, city/address, phone/WhatsApp number, website, operating hours, description, and any photos or logos you submit through the "Add Business" form.
  • Contact person details: the name, email address and phone number of the person submitting or managing a listing, used only to verify and communicate about that submission.
  • Contact form submissions: your name, email address, subject and message when you use our Contact Us form.
  • Payment reference information: if you upgrade to a paid listing plan, we may ask you to email a payment receipt/reference (e.g. a JazzCash or EasyPaisa transaction ID) so we can match your payment to your submission. We do not collect or store your mobile wallet PIN or full account credentials.
  • Automatically collected data: standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and referring pages, collected via cookies and analytics tools as described below.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Publish and display business listings across the directory, including homepage, category, and city pages.
  • Review, approve, and moderate listing submissions before they go live (all new submissions are held as "pending" until reviewed).
  • Respond to contact form messages and business inquiries.
  • Match payment receipts to premium/featured listing upgrades.
  • Maintain, secure, and improve the performance and usability of the website.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations in Pakistan.

We do not sell contact person details to third parties. Business listing information (name, category, city, public contact details) is, by its nature as a directory, intended to be publicly visible — see Section 4 below.

3. Cookies & Analytics

Like most websites, Findpk may use cookies — small text files stored in your browser — for purposes such as:

  • Keeping the site functioning correctly (e.g. remembering a logged-in session for business owners).
  • Understanding aggregate visitor behaviour through analytics tools, to help us improve which categories, cities, and listings are most useful to visitors.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site features but will not prevent you from browsing listings.

4. Business Directory Listing Visibility

Because Findpk is a public business directory, please understand:

  • Approved listings — including business name, category, city, address, phone number, website, hours, description, and any uploaded photos — are publicly visible to all site visitors and may appear in search engine results.
  • The name and contact details of the person who SUBMITTED a listing are kept private and used internally for verification only — they are not published on the public listing page unless you choose to include them in the business description yourself.
  • If you wish to have a published listing corrected, updated, or removed, contact us using the details in Section 7 below.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including restricting database and admin access to authorised personnel, and using standard WordPress security practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Regarding the personal information you provide to us, you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or outdated listing or contact information.
  • Request deletion of your listing and associated contact information from the directory.
  • Withdraw consent for optional communications at any time.
